When Don Denlinger first established The Red Caboose in 1970, all 19 cabooses were painted red. Since then, The Red Caboose has expanded to include 38 cabooses, a baggage car, mail car, Farmhouse and victorian Conductor's Quarters, all decorated in the schemes of America's most famous railroads.

Check-in time is 3PM. Check-out time is 11AM. Early check-in or late check-out can be accommodated for an additional fee. Please contact the front desk to have this added to your reservation.

Smoking and pets are not permitted. Room decor may not be as pictured below. Each caboose has its own decor to enjoy. To ensure the best experience possible for all guests, requests for specific cabooses cannot be guaranteed.

*TWO-NIGHT MINIMUM STAY POLICY: During Day Out With Thomas, holidays and most weekends April through December, there is a two night minimum stay required.
